Veterinary Radiology is the use of x-rays, ultrasound and advanced imaging (CT scan and MRI) in the diagnosis and ultimate treatment of your pet. CVETS has the only board certified radiologist on staff in the Columbia area. They have completed an extensive three-year residency program to become a board certified radiologist.
Veterinary Radiology is a combination of the skill of the radiologist and the technology available to them. CVETS has the most advanced imaging equipment available including: digital radiography, ultrasound, a 16 slice CT scanner and a 1.5T MRI unit. CVETS radiologist completes in-house reviews of all diagnostic imaging, outpatient review of radiographs for referral hospitals and completed outpatient ultrasound exams.
