About Dr. Anthony 'Bo' Barillo
Dr. Anthony 'Bo' Barillo is joining our team after completing a surgical residency with Mission Veterinary Emergency and Specialty in Mission, Kansas.
Dr. Barillo attended Clemson University prior to being accepted to the UGA-CVM Class of 2017, where he met his wife Jesse.
After graduating, Dr. Barillo completed a rotating internship at Affiliated Veterinary Specialists in Maitland, Florida.
He then completed surgical internships with the Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center, Michigan State University, and Oklahoma State University.
Dr. Barillo has interests in juvenile orthopedic conditions, wound healing, and teaching.
In his free time, Dr. Barillo enjoys exploring with his wife, woodworking, and snorkeling.
He says it is "a long-awaited dream come true" to finally be joining the CVETS team, and is excited to be working with his former surgical mentor (and CVETS founder) Dr. Mike Schlicksup.
