Dr. Amanda Edwards, DVM

Dr. Amanda Edwards is a native of the midlands. She grew up in South Congaree, SC.

Dr. Edwards received her Bachelor of Arts and Science Degree in Biology from the University of South Carolina in 2011. Afterwards, she attended Tuskegee University where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree in 2016 and graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Dr. Edwards completed a small animal rotating internship and an internal medicine focused mentorship at Metropolitan Veterinary Specialists in Louisville, KY before moving back to SC to be closer to family.

Her interests include emergency, critical care, and internal medicine. She especially enjoys treating feline patients.

In her free time Dr. Edwards likes to spend time with her fur babies, two daughters, and husband. Her hobbies include kayaking, hiking, going to the beach, traveling, and anything that sparks creativity.
