CVETS is thrilled to announce the addition of Dentistry as a specialized department at our hospital! Please welcome Dr. Tiffany Menke, DAVDC to Columbia, South Carolina. She is a board-certified Veterinary Dentist recognized by the American Veterinary Dental College. Equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools, Dr. Menke is prepared to diagnose and devise tailored treatment strategies for all of your pet’s dental health needs.


Treatment of fractured teeth/pulpitis, pulp exposure, root canals, crown reductions, and tooth abscesses.


Treatment of periodontal disease, tooth scaling and polishing, root planing, mucogingival surgery and guided tissue and bone regeneration.


Correction of common malocclusions, orthodontic appliances, bite evaluations, and genetic counseling.


Cast metal crowns, fillings, and bondings.

Dental Radiology

Permanent tooth assessment for puppies, dental disease, oral tumors, fractures, and TMJ evaluation.

Oral Surgery

Difficult extractions, jaw fractures, oronasal fistulas, and dislocated teeth.

Oral Diseases

Oral manifestations of systemic disease, gingivostomatitis, feline odontoclastic resorptive lesions (tooth resorption), and oral autoimmune disorders.


Fractured teeth and fractured jaws.


Dr. Tiffany L. Menke, DAVDC, Board Certified Veterinary Dentistâ„¢

Dr. Tiffany L. Menke joins CVETS from Austin, Texas, bringing extensive experience and expertise. She earned her doctorate from Ross University in 2006 and then pursued specialized training in anesthesia and small animal emergency medicine. Throughout her career, Dr. Menke has worked in private general and emergency practices across Texas and the Midwest and has served as a clinical instructor in the emergency and critical care service at the University of Illinois. In 2013, she completed her residency training in dentistry and oral surgery at the University of Illinois.

Dr. Menke has a particular interest in periodontics, endodontics, and non-invasive jaw fracture management, though she is passionate about all aspects of veterinary dentistry. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys gardening, exploring South Carolina’s native flora, bird watching, and spending quality time with her family and pets.
