Who We Are

CVETS, Columbia Veterinary Emergency Trauma & Specialty, is a new specialty/ER hospital in need of experienced technicians. The brand new 9000 square foot facility opened in May of 2018 and is growing rapidly. The facility includes a dedicated ICU, multiple operating rooms, a radiology suite, dedicated facilities for endoscopy, chemotherapy administration and special procedures, ultrasound, a 16 slice CT scan, on site MRI and multiple specialists (24 hour emergency, internal medicine, ophthalmology, surgery and radiology). The hospital is located on the northeast side of Columbia an area that is rapidly growing and was not previously serviced by specialty care.

Nurses, Technicians & Assistants

We are seeking experienced technicians interested in emergency, ICU, surgery and/or anesthesia. We are also accepting applicants for an internal medicine nurse. The hospital and its staff have been designed with a culture aimed at exceptional client services and personal job fulfillment. As a newer, rapidly growing facility multiple positions are open with the potential for rapid advancement.

Client Services Representatives

We are seeking experienced veterinary client service representatives. The hospital and its staff have been designed with a culture aimed at exceptional client services and personal job fulfillment. Preference is provided to candidates with previous veterinary experience.

Columbia, located in central South Carolina, is a city of approximately 1 million with a consistent growth pattern. Located 1.5 hours from the beach and the mountains Columbia is ranked in the top 50 best places to live by US News and World Report. With a small-town feel, lots of southern charm and large city luxuries, it has a revitalized downtown, active nightlife, numerous trendy restaurants and excellent schools.

Qualifications and Compensation

Preference is provided to licensed/registered candidates and those with specialty/ER experience. The position includes a signing bonus, relocation expenses and hourly pay. The benefits package includes medical, paid time off, sick time, 401k retirement plan, discounted pet care, continuing education allowance, uniform allowance and reimbursement of licensing fees.
