- CVETS was born out of a passion to create a vibrant and modern veterinary hospital that could provide the highest level of medicine and create a pleasant environment for our team. Our hospital was founded by husband-and-wife team Dr. Mike Schlicksup (DACVS), and Dr. Tracy Schlicksup (DABVP). Dr. Mike works as one of our surgeons, and Dr. Tracy leads our emergency team. CVETS provides 24-hour emergency care and has 11 specialty services. You can expect to work shoulder-to-shoulder with the leaders of our hospital, so you are constantly seen, heard, and valued directly by those directly at the top.
- As a part of the CVETS Neurology team, you’ll be working directly under our board-certified Neurologist, Dr. Kendra Bohn. Dr. Bohn has years of experience in the field of Neurology and can help you further your knowledge and skills as a veterinary technician. Trust us when we say, you’ll be working under the best of the best!
- What We’re Looking For
- Qualified neurology veterinary technician with a minimum of three years of experience
- Licensed veterinary technicians preferred
- Strong Imaging operations – i.e. MRI, CT (will consider a Human Imaging Technician)

- As a part of the CVETS Neurology team, you’ll get to experience working with a highly-specialized set of tools to best help our team in diagnosing and treating patients. We have top-of-the-line diagnostic tools in our hospital such as in-hospital MRI and a 16-slice CT scanner. We pride ourselves in being able to provide treatments with the most advanced technology on the market, so you can expect to get your hands on the latest and greatest!
- Also, stained paper records and bad hand-writing…no thank you. Our hospital design was structured around the use of our technology systems to ensure that we operate as efficiently as possible. We utilize a SmartFlow system for patient status and monitoring, and all of our records are done through EzyVet. This makes organization and patient care for our hospital easier.
