Dr. Rebecca Kennerly
Dr. Rebecca Kennerly was born in Columbia and raised in Alabama. She received her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Auburn University in 2017 where she graduated valedictorian. She then completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at the University of Georgia, and she stayed at UGA to complete a three year cardiology residency. Dr. Kennerly‘s interests include degenerative mitral valve disease, emergency management of congestive heart failure, pre-anesthetic evaluation of the cardiology patient, and pacemaker implantation. She enjoys cooking, bird watching, and spending time with her family in Columbia. Dr. Kennerly is obsessed with her dog, a greyhound named Cavic.
